"Hmmmm, I see...." Sesshoumaru said with the small smirk still watching her. Her behavior in trying to cover up her own emotions was very amusing. Who did she think she was fooling? She certainly wasn't fooling him. After all in the art of hiding emotions he was master and Lord. She wouldn't surpass him on that.
The ghost of a smirk turned into a ghost of a smile, as he got a mischievous idea in his head. He got up from his seat and walked gracefully over to her. He was mere inches from her now, still watching her that look on his face, and a ghost of a smile that would melt any woman.
"I am not looking for a mate, remember. I have said it before. I am not lying. I do not lie." He said looking to her now stoically. "But it seems you do." He said raising a hand and moving a strand of hair from her face, gentler than anyone would think he could be. "I understand you trying to make yourself believe you are not falling my lady. I think I would do the same thing. But really.....At least be truthful to yourself. It will be better in the long run." He said giving her now a small cold look with a raised eyebrow.
He turned just as quickly and suddenly as he had done all that and turned from her and went to the door opening it and walking out, then standing still and looking at her. "if you can't even get my image out of your mind, or stop making it heat you up, how would you fight it if I did try and win you?" He asked her with the laughing amber eyes, but the cold expression. "Now of course if I ever do mate. I do believe you would be adequate, you are strong, with an intelligence matching my own. I do not know if you are my equal yet. But I will soon. So very few are." He said with a shrug, through this whole thing he was still watching her. Still gauging her reactions to everything he said.

I know you don’t lie and therefore you suck at lying.
Annoyed by his repeated statements, she didn’t need to be reminded of what she already had been told once. She knew, but what could a woman do when she’s flustered in a state like now? Feeling like a prey being preyed on, she almost wanted to step away from him when he came close. But her pride as a woman with steel of nerves (or so, she thought she had), did not let her take a step backward. Standing rigid in her spot, she blatantly stared at the demon lord.
What she had not expected was the gentle touch of his hand, the way he pushed her annoying tresses away from her face. She blinked pure silence, unable to generate a protest or thoughts to throw back at him. That is, until he spoke again. Arching an eyebrow with a rigid grin, “sure, admit defeat is what it is.” No way would she fall for this. This demon lord, in her eyes, was a spoiled brat who believed he can get anything he wanted which he could very nearly could, though not possibly all.
She knows what she’s looking for in a man and everything she looked for in a man was not found in the demon lord. So, he wasn’t the type she wanted, looked for, or evens an interest in. So as long as she continues to think this way, Zoe was sure that she would rid herself of these unnecessary feelings. It’s bothersome and useless. After all, she had a goal in mind and aims to achieve it, no matter what the obstacles may be. She’ll just simply jump over them.
Her body instantly froze at the way he phrased the situation she was in. Again, like a cat hissing with furs sticking out, she immediately glared at the demon lord which she realized was by the door. Sure, she’s flattered that he acknowledged her at least, but she was not flattered by the way he described the predicament she was in. “Oh, if you did try, you’ll just be turned down.” Crossing her arms over her chest with her face turned away, “beside, I already have someone in mind, back home. Hmpth!” Okay, not a total truth or a lie. But, at least, it should quiet the demon lord for a bit, no?

Females, women are so predictable. She acts like a human. She's using human female traits. Just as if she was my brother's wench. How simply irritating. She would be a great demoness if it where not for that. Sesshoumaru thought as he watched her from the door. He was staring at her with that cold, stoic, raised eyebrow look. A half smirk trying to work it's way to his lips, but not managing it, thanks to his control.
Now she's lying again. Is she trying to convince me or her? Who knows...I can't tell. He thought shaking his head a bit.
"Well then...It's a good thing I'm not interested. That way you can have time to be welcomed back home and go find this make believe courtier of yours." Sesshoumaru said with a very calm tone as if he was talking about the weather. He didn't believe her of course. She didn't smell claimed. She didn't even have a small of someone trying to court her. No matter how human these demons where, he couldn't believe they wouldn't have scent marks on them. Or some type of marks. She had nothing. She smelled untouched, looked untouched, and acted untouched and unclaimed.
He did notice how she stayed when he was touching her face. "Tell me one thing Lady Zoe. Why are you fighting the idea of me so much? I am very...... intrigued about that. I can clearly tell there is something you do not agree with when it comes to my person." He said truly wanting to know.
"You obviously admire my physical self. Don't lie about that anymore. It's just pathetic. So I must assume it's my behavior or my attitude. I can only guess you don't know what a real demon is supposed to act. If your males are as..... humanized..... as you I can only imagine how..... they behave." He said controlling himself at the last minute, he was about to call them 'weak' but at the end decided it was best to not vocally call them that, if just for the mere fact that he didn't feel like riling her up again.

Lowering her arms to her side, she frowned slightly, seemingly upset by the fact that the demon lord did not believe her. She was not making this up at all. As she recalled, she did once had an interest in him, though the kind of relationship they now share was a strong bond, often causing confusion among other people when it turned out it was not a romance in air.
Oh dear, he just called Jared some make-believed courtier.
If her dear friend heard him say such thing, she would have no doubt he would pull a prank. Though, it is also possible that he would also do nothing about it. He now rarely pulls pranks on those he disliked. Instead, he goes the most planned path which often left his victims in dire situation.
Without having his hands soiled.
It was thanks to him that she became akin to reading people, figuring out their motives, why they acted and so forth. Now that she thought about it, she wondered how people do psychology work. In fact, do they even have some sort of psychologist around here? She doubted it, after all, it’s feudal era and most likely that people’s intelligence hadn’t quite gone that far.
Somehow, her ears did not quite focus on the demon lord as her mind drifted away in endless array of critical thoughts. That is, until she recalled where she was and managed to hear what the lord said. Realizing that he was curious of her predicament, she decided to turn the table around. No longer quite annoyed as she was just only seconds ago, she quirked an eyebrow only to be lowered, replaced with a shrug of her shoulders, “Eh?”
Releasing a soft chuckle, “ah, well, your figure is desirable, I’ll admit. It’s just you I do not like. Simple as that.” It was a closed topic and she made it crystal-clear. “Sesshoumaru,” she said, now forgetting the formality for him, which she quite frankly don’t care much for, “we are a different type of demon. I am different from you, even if we both are youkai.”
Just as she was about to make another statement, she heard a high-pitch whine and felt instant thrill of danger that only those with bloodline of Makai can hear and feel. It was a call from her scythe, warning her of nearby danger. “That isn’t good.”
Rubbing the back of her head, “you got something coming at you, or rather your territory.” Sure, she knew where the danger was, but she didn’t know what or who it was, not until she caught whiffs of human scents, not relating to the young lady she saw earlier. “Humans, 3 o’clock.”
Somewhere just beyond the border that marked the line surrounding the castle, a crowd of humans ventured closer with the intention to wipe the castle owner. But, that wasn't it. There were also cluster of monks, wielding holy necessities. The humans now held beliefs they could successfully finish him off, after all, these humans managed to finish off passing demons on their way, have they not?
"Does this occur often?" Zoe inquired lightly, obviously not terrified by the idea of humans impending.

Sesshoumaru listened to her, and couldn't help the small raise in his eyebrows as she spoke. He did give her a small ghost of a smirk.
"At least on that we agree Lady Zoe. You act too human for my taste." He said coldly and calmly. He was watching her when she seemed to sense something. He looked to her frowning in his mind as he heard what she said. When she said the word 'humans' his facial expression turned even colder.
He went over to a cabinet inside his office, within less than a minute he had his armor on and sword in it's sheath. He left his office with a very annoyed look on his face.
"My Lord...Ningen...with monks at the border of the castle..." The captain of the guard said as he rushed to Sesshoumaru.
Sesshoumaru nodded to him. "Bring in the females, and the pups. Make sure they are all inside the castle walls. Give the order for the guards to guard the castle in every direction." he said and the captain rushed off giving the orders.
"Yes, it does. They believe they can kill me." Sesshoumaru said looking bored already and he hadn't even started fighting yet. "Come if you wish. But do not make me have to rescue you." He said and left Zoe behind as he walked to the castle walls near the area where he smelled the human mob.
Flying over the wall gracefully he watched the human mob from the air. he hovered there studying them, gauging how much of a threat they where. He wasn't going to let them live of course. He wasn't even planning on giving them time to explain themselves. The few seconds that he was now spending watching them he had his hand on Bakusaiga's grip. he looked calmly over at his people, making sure they where getting all the pups and such inside.
Then he saw it. Three of the human warriors came close to his castle going after one of the inu females that hadn't gotten inside yet. With speed that made it hard for anyone to see him other than as a white blur he flew over them coming down in a surprise attack and slashed the three cleanly with his sword. Their bodies falling to pieces as Bakusaiga's decomposition took over their bodies. After that he stood in the middle of the three bodies. Not moving yet, just looking very very coldly and stoically at the other humans. The look on his face showed he was just really picking who he was going to kill next.
As he stood between them and his castle it gave his guards time to get all the inu inside and away from danger. All the pups and females where taken inside the castle itself. While the guards surrounded it and protected. All had happened in less than 3 minutes.

Do I look like I need rescuing from the likes of you?
The female zasshu stood, immobilized not out of fear, but curiosity and annoyance that he dressed differently and spoke such statement to her. Something popped up in her mind, realizing and wondering if females in this era, often needed to be rescued rather than to defend themselves? If that’s the case, she would be surprised, suspecting that youkais, in general, despite their gender, would know some basic battle skills. After all, back home, no matter what the gender are, all are enforced to learn how to defend themselves for their own benefits.
It was thanks to her father.
How else could her kind thrive on other planet and in different dimension? And as added protection, few of her kind travelled only for their benefits. Her situation was different and so happened to be on the whim of her mother’s anger, despite her father’s decision to have her gain experience during her travel. Perhaps he trusted and believed there is something to gain from her experiences and that she will be kept safe consciously.
She followed the demon lord to the border of the castle and realized just how many humans there were. She blinked in surprise, having thought there would be only a small group and it will be done in just matter of seconds. During her trek to the border, she watched guards scrambled about with the females and the little children. Indeed, they highly valued the women here, and as well as the children. She couldn’t blame them, not when she noticed that they did not thrive as they would have liked to. No wonder the demon lord was irked by her statement earlier.
Standing only in front of the gate of the castle, she crossed both arms in front of her, wondering if she was going to finish the three warriors who came closer. Which she didn’t need to, not when the demon lord finished them off with ease and speed. The way he moved and calculated the attacks, she could believe that he is truly a daiyoukai. Perhaps that explains why he’s so egomaniacal with overwhelming pride. Imagining herself being stuck with him for a year, she supposed she’ll have to find way to deal with his attitude of his.
The sound of the door clicked shut behind her; a wry smirk escaped her lips. The inu race does not fool around when it comes to themselves. She could only hope that humans, back home, could follow this type of steps and timing.
Out the corner of her eye, she spotted tiny movement, realizing it was one of the missing child inside the cluster of trees. What was even more alarming that she knew the human warriors were inside there as well. With a grim smile, she crouched on her knees until she disappeared from sight. Muffles of cries and yelps emerged as several warriors found themselves thrown out of the cluster of trees. Each human warrior no longer moved, yet their eyes were wide open with mouth gaping wide. If one takes a closer look, the heart beat no longer beat. Or rather, there are no hearts with any entry wounds. There aren’t any blood spots on them either.
Walking calmly from the forest, she held a small inu child who clutched onto her attire out of morbid fear. With one free hand, she wiped the human blood out with simple water which appeared out of thin air.
“Fiend!”
The sound of a male warrior rushed toward her, raising his kama though Zoe merely stared at him with an eyebrow raised. The kama slipped out of his hand, floating above his head. She watched as the male warrior blinked and looked up, realizing that his weapon was in the air just above his head. “Stupid. Never scream when you intend to take the enemy by surprise.”
In a flash, the kama curved inward and struck the back of the warrior’s neck, cutting off his spinal cord with the blade sticking out on the other side. But, Zoe wasn’t done yet as she watched the body being lifted and thrown back at the human mob. It wasn’t time for her to be playing around, not when she had the defenseless child in her arm. Rushing back to the guards, she handed the child over to one of them who then readily took the child back into the castle.

Sesshoumaru watched what Zoe did. He was mildly surprised at the power she was showing, but he would never show it, specially not in battle. As he stood there calculating and strategizing as usual, the mob of humans started to surround him. He stayed there calmly just watching them with even colder eyes. They where no longer warm as they where when he had been talking with Zoe inside. Now there was nothing in them. Nothing but annoyance and anger that they had dared to be foolish enough to come back here and attack what was his.
He noticed the human mob was mostly ignoring Zoe. They didn't know who she was, and he knew he was their correct target. The warriors surrounded him, with the monks mixed into the warriors. They started running around him in a circle. He knew well what they where trying to do. It had been tried on him before.
Monks... these pathetic humans don't ever have anything new to throw at me? He thought as he stood there, still looking bored, and still looking like he wasn't going to move an inch.
Then finally the monks started chanting. A wave of holy power surrounding Sesshoumaru as they chanted, sutras and other holy attacks where thrown at him. In the cloud of holy power Sesshoumaru was lost from view. Some of the humans and monks rejoiced thinking they had gotten him. In reality any normal demon would have gotten killed by that attack. But this was no normal demon was he? Sesshoumaru stood there when the cloud dispersed, eyes red with joukai fury. Bakusaiga back in it's sheath, he instead got the light whip to appear.
"You are not even worth my sword." He said coldly to the human mob and then just lifted into the air a bit and started swirling in a circle, faster and faster until all you could see was a white blur inside and the light whip dancing, and slashing everything and everyone it touched. In that manner he killed everyone that had circled around him.
Some of the monks had grown intelligent and ran, but Sesshoumaru saw them. He was not going to let them get away.

The holy display directed at the demon lord from the monks could have killed him, but Zoe long since doubted it. Ironically and strangely enough, she felt relieved to see that Sesshoumaru was still standing there despite the human mob’s short-lived victory shout and her lack of conviction that such holy display would get him. She merely stood by with arms crossed in front of the guards who took their stance, readied for any onslaughts from the human mobs.
Quite frankly, the humans back home were smarter and much more creative with their tactics. She could only be surprised with what the humans in this era could come up with. Yet, this is the ancient time and it was not surprising that the human civilization are still learning, gaining what they knew better than last year. She also realized that this is also the era where humans are rapidly become resourceful, now quickly learning the mistakes from the past and produce creative ways to gain results in the end. Perhaps there is something to be wary of. Humans, despite the way they behave, are actually quick to learn once they aim what they want with pure determination.
This is the result of such situation. She could see it in their eyes; the regret of the decisions they made and the defiance to keep moving rather than giving up.
The more she watched, the more she realized that the humans weren’t attacking her. She blinked, wondering for a moment until she realized that she looked more human than she does as youkai. Yes, it is the advantage she had and often used it countless times. Her train of thoughts came to an abrupt thought when the light whip materialized into sight. It reminded her of her own Fire Rope, though she could tell that the movement of the whip was much more delicate but deadly with speed.
Once again, she saw something out the corner of her eyes, spotting more humans mingling about in the word. With the slight angle of her face, she stared with curiosity until it led her straight into the lion’s den and away from the battlefield. The more she trekked, the more she noticed the humans were lined up by the castle’s wall, facing the guards which they stood with their weapons drawn, prepared. Her scythe whimpered and whined like a machinery grinding and whistle, signaling her of an impending danger. Yet, Zoe continued until one of the human spotted her, thinking she was one of them.
“You! Get back here!”
Blinking in surprise, she would have suspected that the humans saw her attack a human, though she wouldn’t let the opportunity pass her by. With a shrug, she edged closer until a human male grabbed her by the arm and yanked her behind the line of humans, “what’s going on here?” She casually inquired, watching the human male eyed her too closely for her taste.
Why human males are in so much torment? Didn’t they have women back home?
“We’re planning to do a feat that no other monks ever done,” the male grinned with a missing front tooth revealed, “This is going to be the biggest holy attack. That foolish youkai thinks he had it covered.” Zoe arched an eyebrow with curiosity, keeping her front up. She didn’t need anything else to trash her intentions that demon lord better not come here. “Say, when we’re done, want to come with me?”
She could only stare at him in disbelief until she seductively grinned, “that is, if you can do what you claim to do first.”
And I’ll be here to stop it.
Plus, I wouldn’t go with a toothless guy.

The monks ran away from him. Regrouping a short distance away and talking to themselves. Sesshoumaru looked down at himself making sure he was still clean. He disliked very much to be covered in human blood. Such a lowly disgusting thing. Foul smelling on top of that. Although he looked like he wasn't he knew where everyone was. Including Lady Zoe. Why she was talking to the humans was beyond him, but he could see the foolish things couldn't tell she was a youkai. For a slight moment he had the worry that she might betray him and help the humans. But he mentally shook his head at that idea and focused. She was makai. He couldn't think that she was that demented.
That will be part of their undoing. He thought as he moved gracefully walking closer to the mob of monks. With his light whip out again, he took to the sky and slashed them from the air. Not leaving one alive. He had to take the time and fly after some who where running but no matter, he got them all.
With the monks taken care off, he turned and looked to the humans surrounding his castle. Sesshoumaru studied the ones left. It was the group Zoe was with. He could pick up holy power from where he was. He looked to his guards on the castle walls and nodded to them, signaling them to stay on guard. He knew they could take a holy attack. Any Inu with good training could.
He started walking calmly towards them. Looking fully bored with the whole thing. As he walked he started concentrating lightly on his youki, bringing it up a field around him, until with every step he took more youki came out. His eyes changed and shifted to a youkai's raging red. His face becoming angled and his stripes changing becoming ragged. A beam of white light surrounded him as he took more steps until when it was gone there he stood in all his youkai glory. A massive almost 30 foot inu daiyouaki.
Few would know why he decided to shift to his real form. But the fact of the matter was that he had noticed where the humans where close too. If he attacked with his sword there he might injure the females inside the castle. He couldn't let that happen.
With one stump of his massive front paws the earth shook under him, as he growled and snarled at the humans, daring them to do their worst at him.

Zoe, on the other end of the battlefield, or close thereof, listened as the toothless man explained the plan formulated by the monks amongst themselves in utmost whisper. Thankfully, with her keen senses, she could understand what he was telling her in bare audible at close range.
“And, that’s about it. Do pardon me for speaking so low, I could not allow the youkai lord to destroy our plan. We already acknowledged that he is indeed different from other youkais.”
With both hands crossed casually behind the small of her back, she quirked her head sideway with an eyebrow arched. So, this was the plan that the monks, who managed to surround the entire length of the castle ground to perform subjugation overthrow of the entire race of inu youkai in a single chants. But, it wasn’t just that alone, they also brought, each monks, an egg-sized slightly white, but transparent stones believed to strengthen their holy powers nearly ten times fold.
Where in the world did they get the stones from?
She recognized the stones, but could not quite recall what function or roles it played specifically and where it originated from. The only thing she knew is that humans are most compatible with the stones than youkais are, thus, allowing the human strengths to increase. This situation is rapidly turning to human favors, instead of the other way despite how the demon lord, now obviously in his demonic form, daring the monks to lay attacks on him may seemed to be in his favors. It wasn’t that she doubted his skills at this point which she now acknowledged, but it could produce other form of damages that may have not been foreseen. Strangely enough, she thought his demonic form was rather cute. At the sudden turn of her thoughts, she almost choked and shook her head, refocusing on the situation at hand.
“You failed as a monk.” The toothless man’s eyes widened and turned to face Zoe whose cobalt eyes now gleamed red. “Don’t second-guess. You are seeing the real me.” Sprouting a grin, she took a step back, seemingly to look as if readied to attack him. As expected, the human’s speed was nothing compared to her own when she went pass him, away from the line of forests. She dashed across the open ground, though she stole a quick glance from the enormous inu form of the demon lord. Yet, she did not stop and continued to run straight into the wall, leaving some of the guards startled, half-expecting her to crash when she only went through like a ghost.
It only took her few seconds for her pin-point her desired location with both hands flexed at her sides. At the sound of the monks chanting, she realized that it must’ve been an intended distraction for the demon lord, allowing the human monks which surrounded the castle walls. With only small vital information of those stone, she recalled that one needed certain amount of time to…power up? It could be the case, though. She could feel it vibrating in the air. The air was being sucked in only to be returned as holy air.
How wrong…vying for a slow death, even for the children?
With a wry smirk, “let’s get dirty.” She spoke to no one in particular, now finding herself enveloped in oversized, slightly transparent wings which then hardened and turned solid. In just a second alone, the wings shrunk in size and turned somewhat feathery-like, now opened revealing the second-level Makai. She needed to do this and could not risk allowing the monks to acknowledge there was a Makai around here. Ignoring the stares she received from the inu families, she raised a hand and silently summoned her scythe. Holding the giant scythe with ease, she noted how the sanctified air became thicker with rays of light in sight from the ground up to the sky. It signaled Zoe just where the monks were with those lights and how far apart they were.
Perfect.
Flexing the crimson-stained wings apart, she raised the scythe in the air until its top blade spun rapidly, sending out high-piercing whistles. Gray fire followed the blade, smoldering with neutralizing properties, growing wider and wider, determined by the miles she needed to reach the monks. Once satisfied with the amount she could release, she slammed the hilt of her scythe against the ground, releasing large bouts of grey fire from the blade as it snaked its way down to the middle of the scythe length. The neutralizing fire spun rapidly it spawn into several rings and grew in size, reaching for any powers to neutralize. It was like methane meet lightning; it was attracted and seeks to rid of it in a flash.
It was only in milliseconds that the holy air returned to normal and several shouts of monks surrounding the castle walls. They were baffled by the turn of the events and even more confused as just what those grey fires were. “And, that’s your Subjugation Ring.” She nodded with satisfaction until her shoulder slumped, feeling drained now. She was only thankful that she only needed to spread evenly of nearly five miles wide. She glanced sideway, taking notice of a young boy staring at her too closely until his mother closed his eyes. She blinked, wondering just what it was until she recalled the outfit she was wearing now.
Out of consideration, she returned back to level one, which technically was not a good idea. Her legs, in an instant, gave out from under her as she released an exasperated sigh, “better this than dead.”
Now, go play with the monks, Sesshoumaru. I’ve got no power now. Best use the paws, since I already neutralize your own powers as well.
It couldn’t be helped; whenever she used her special ability, it also neutralizes the powers of those who are her allies.

A bath of blood followed what Zoe had done. Sesshoumaru wasted no time in killing those worthless humans around his castle. The anger at them for even daring to attack his people, his subjects. Those clearly protected by him. That had made their fates clear. Sesshoumaru did not forgive, and he did not forget. He could and would chase prey to the ends of the earth once his mind was made up. Just like he had done with Naraku. He went around the entire length of the castle stumping and whacking human warriors and monks left over. None survived. In the end all that was left of them was a ring of red blood around the castle. Only when it was all done did what Zoe had done filter into his mind. Only then did he allow the second fury to take him over. He could feel it. He was stuck in his form. He was stuck powerless. Weak. His youki neutralized and the only strength left to him was the one in his body. The growl that left him was clearly not of a happy daiyoukai lord. He jumped over the walls of his castle. His people leaving and taking refuge inside. He had seen the entire attack. From the attack of the monks purifying the air. To the move of Zoe with the grey flame that neutralized everything, including himself. He didn't know what he wanted to do more, stump on her, or die because he ate her. Either seemed good in his fury. His logical mind wondered if she had any idea of what she had done. Did she realize that she'd sent his people, his lands into more danger than those idiot human ever possessed? She probably didn't. If any of his countless enemies found out about this.... He'd be a sitting duck now. A weak powerless youkai lord easy to kill. :: YOU DARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :: Sesshoumaru said mentally to her cause at the moment it was the only way to communicate. :: YOU DO THIS!! TO THIS SESSHOUMARU!!:: He said to her, while growling loudly and stumping to her glaring at her like he was ready to eat her. :: No one! No one has EVER dared to dishonor 'this Sesshoumaru' like this! Where you not thinking!!! :: He said now swiping at her and pinning her under one of his paws. :: Did you think one miserable human monk attack was worth this? You have left me trapped and powerless. I swear to you if my people die because of this, I will hunt you down with the last of my strength.:: He said not realizing how angry he was. He had never ever been this angry... Not like this... Not ever... Not even Inuyasha had ever angered him like this. But of course... No one had ever left him powerless before either. Not ever had anyone angered him so much that his daiyoukai side was almost fully in control. While the logical side could do nothing but stand back stunned.

How weak she felt after each time she used the Subjugation Ring ability; yes, it was a tricky business, considering how she could also render her allies useless. But, she long since found a way out and after countless times, they have proven themselves worthy for they did not once fail in during the times her allies’ powers took time to return. Considering the amount of her ability being produced, she surmised that it would take at least two days full for everyone’s powers to return one-hundred percent.
In the meantime, she could at least summon her beasts and help wield protection for the lands. Just before she could stand, she took a quick glance, taking notice that the residents took refugee almost all in too hasty moves. Arching an eyebrow, she watched until she smelled a furious inu youkai; it was him and she knew she was in for it. Before she could even make move to get away, she found herself pinned to the ground, air nearly choked out of her lungs.
What in the world…?!
A pair of cobalt eyes grew wide in shock by the full force of sheer anger emanated from the demon lord, now stuck in his demonic form. She struggled with the sheer strength of his single paw on her and grew limp, knowing full well that it was futile for her to fight in a hand-to-hant combat with this particular youkai. Each time she tried to speak, she was interrupted by his abrupt angered talks. Struggling to breathe, she shut her eyes momentarily until a defiance scream emerged. She was not about to let this stupid lord trap her down, further putting the residents at higher risk if she doesn’t get those creatures out by now, “Shut your trap and let me summon someone!”
Even angered by his abrupt behavior, she forcibly willed her mind to push the paw off her which, much to her surprise still had a lot of force left behind. She thought that she didn’t have enough power to face him. It seemed that her unique power did not quite crippler her as it did last time. Is it because she is growing stronger each time? If that’s the case, will the effect of the Subjugation Ring prolong more than two days? How about the chance to manipulate the negation fire to her will?
That would do…I’ll need to practice on that when I can.
“I did not execute this ability without foresights!” She hollered back at the demon lord, daring him to eat her for all she liked. Because once thing she knows, if he does, he will be left a sitting duck for all the world to see for the next two days unless she summons her hounds. A different kind of hounds.
She knew she was in it for sure, especially when she dared to talk back to the demon lord in his current state. She wasn’t sure just how clear-minded he was at this point. Even for someone who barely know him, she could very well tell he was just beyond black anger. With quick flicks of her wrists, she summoned signs with her hands and chanted a single word once again. A faded imagery of her massive scythe appeared before her, flecked with long series of feathers from under the blade which it sits right on top of the long pole. Lowering her hand, she whispered another Makai word and the feathers straightened, turning solid in color than the scythe itself.
It was almost in a flash that the feathers broke into individual feathers, changing shape and colors until it grew larger and larger, producing four legs, a tail with long ears and a tentacle sprouted from the side of its mouth. It sported the shape of a ten-foot dark gray wolf with several hints of turquoise scales buried in its fur. There was an obvious Makai sign on top of its head along with two massive spiraled horns protruded from its shoulders. There were well more than twenty guardians she summoned at this point, though, one in particular stood in front of her, facing the demon lord.
“These creatures will protect us while we recover.” She stared at Sesshoumaru, a clear trust she had in these creatures. After all, these creatures were also spawned from the Subjugation Ring as well. Their abilities include Prehensile (the ability to manipulate their fur like a rope and whatnot), power-sensing (allowing them to be alerted of what powers the enemies possesses for them to assess the situation), intelligence, and power absorption. It has been known that these creatures often ate more than just powers alone, but could absorb their enemies easily as well just to satisfy their cravings. Once an enemy’s power is taken by these creatures, it could never be returned. Like its Makai counterparts, they are also capable of sonic scream and blend in with the darkness with ease for camouflage.
“You know what to do.” She uttered a whisper, watching the creatures moved off in different directions, situating themselves in front of several parts of walls, all but one creature stood right in front of her, its turquoise eyes watching him, though not in a fighting stance. Merely, he sat down with its long tail flicked slightly calmly.

His anger did not calm him any just because she had gotten away from him. It didn't calm simply because he watched all that and she brought out some new friends. He stayed there growling loudly at her while his mouth dripped poison to the floor.
The growl that left him got even louder when he heard what she expected. Did she really really expect that to happen. For him to accept her help like this. After it was she who got him like this in first place. She was more insane than he thought.
:: YOU!!!! Did not do this with foresight!! You have no idea how my world works!!!!!!! You act and do things without even knowing what it is you are messing with!! I truly did not imagine anyone could anger me as you have. You have some nerve to even be standing in front of me still!!!!!! And yet you expect this to happen. YOU EXPECT ME!!! SESSHOUMARU LORD OF THE WEST AND THE INU!!!!!! To accept this!!!!!!!! Accept your guards!!!!!! You truly wish me and my people dead and gone from this world??? Or are you just beyond blind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :: He practically screamed at her again. He growled and swatted her guards, and then at her. If they killed him he cared not. Better to die in battle like this, than to die helpless at the hands of his enemies.
Of course the poison dripping didn't even do much, like the rest of his powers it was pretty neutralized. Which really didn't help matters much. It just helped fuel the anger more.

The anger, resonating from the demon lord, had not lessened with time. Instead, it got worse and worst. It seemed that it worsen each time she said something. Will it increase even more if she just simply walked away to just take a rest? She had the sinking feeling that both ways will only serve to create an volcanic erupt of anger on his part.
Simply put, he’s just full of anger to a point that he will not even bother to calm down.
Perhaps it was a good idea that she called the creatures out on time. She took a step back in surprise when her guardian swatted to the floor and jumped over the swinging paw of the demon lord. It aimed to just swat him away, just so he could attack her again. It did not happen, as Zoe found herself picked up by her guardian on its back. It seemed that her agility had lessened as well. She could not move quite well, even her legs were having hard times to even stand at this point. It was a miracle she managed to stand all this time.
She could only hope that a certain person she had in mind was here. He could have easily pinned this creature down, a daiyoukai or not, he controls gravity to his desires. It would have been a perfect opportunity to try and calm the demon lord, he even was good with words. But reality is harsh; he is not here and she is here in this state.
With a grim look, she struggled to not wince at the sound of his voice. The more he barked in angers, the more she realized the residents were becoming much more restless with worries and fears. She hadn’t said a word, though she was hurt by his words. She refused to say a word, figuring it was best to say nothing than to add fuel to the fire. If he tried to make another move, she feared that she would have no choice but to knock him out cold at some point. Her creature could easily perform such task, but she hadn’t permitted it.
She could only sit back and wait for him to calm down. At the very least, the creature which protected her from the demon lord, now had Zoe on its back, its eyes focused on him and at a good distance away.

She was rescued from him. How perfect?! As if his day could get any better. Now she could get away from him too. Perfect. The dishonor just continued. He stood there growling baring his fangs at her the whole time. Then it happened. From within his fur his double swords hummed. Tetsaiga filled him with it's light clearing him and transporting him to another part of the garden away from the 'trouble' when it sensed his life was in danger if he stayed there and kept getting angrier. Bakusaiga, his own sword, made from his body and his power glowed and filled him as well, so that when Tetsaiga was done, and he was transported he stood there in the garden as himself again, and not as a dog.
The moment he was released from the sword's power his red eyes cleared back to their normal amber. His face lost it's demonic transformation and became it's normal gorgeous face.
Sesshoumaru looked down to his swords as they started going back to normal and stopped glowing. He quirked his head curiously, he didn't fully remember what had happened in the last few minutes. He was sure it would come to him later. It couldn't matter that much. He started walking out of the gardens he was in, wondering why he was at the rememberance gardens when he was supposed to be outside defending against the humans.
Of course when he got outside again all he saw was the blood. Now he was a bit confused. Of course makai powers aside, there was still somethings in this world that could not be controlled or fooled with by makai trick; And the swords of a Daiyoukai where one of those things. Specially not a daiyoukai who had swords from his father and himself.
As he walked back calmly into the castle he looked up and saw Zoe on a .... well he wasn't sure what it was.... a demon of some kind... he supposed...
I am not sure what happened, but I know she's got something to do with it.... However... Something tells me I do not want to know. He thought looking at her. He was clearly back to normal, normal attitude, normal power. His amber eyes looked to her, he noticed the other demons, he knew they where hers as well.
"Bringing pets with you as well." He said coldly and with a stoic bored tone. "Make sure they stay out of my way while they're here." He said calmly walking over to get the report from the guards.
The guards watched their lord and looked to Zoe. They weren't really sure what the hell they should tell their lord really.
