How and why in the world is this innocent, young lady staying in the same household as this man? It was clear to Zoe that this girl bore no malicious or sarcastic intents toward her. She was clean and innocent as she could come, enough for Zoe to feel relaxed in her presence, instead of a cat standing with its fur sticking out around a certain somebody.
Instead of spilling the anger at the demon lord, she looked up, shocked by what she heard. Holding only one stick in one hand, she pointed at him, “you said it.” It sounded almost like an accusation which it wasn’t. “It’s about time you said my name without the formality. And thank you, ah, Rin, may I?” Rather than shooting the lord her grateful smile, she offered to Rin instead. It was obvious that Zoe was not about to start being nice to him.
For some odd reason, she felt like an elementary kid, pulling the ‘I hate you’ look and behavior at her target. Her thought broke when a maid visited her side, offering a spoon which she took with pleasure. Now there was something she’s familiar with. Eying the plate filled with food, she lightly took a bite and much to her surprise, she liked it. Sure, it was foreign, but it was packed with flavors.
While she ate her meal, she quietly watched the conversation between the demon lord and Rin. She hadn’t said a word, realizing how different her world was from theirs. It was as she thought, men these days are controlling with everything they have under their belt, even women. Cobalt gaze flickered between the two with the obvious curiosity and something to say, which of course, she held back.
Tyrant.
It was by the saints of miracle that Zoe chose to ignore the conversation that took place and continued to eat her meal.

After the talk with Rin Sesshoumaru looked to Zoe curiously. The look on her through his conversation with Rin made him very curious. He could read that she didn't agree with what he had said. He didn't care, but there was curiosity about what she would have done. Seeing and learning how people's minds worked was after all very important for him. It helped him to know his opponents, to plan strategies and such, if the case came to such a thing.
"You asked me to stop the formality and then you get surprised when I do?! You're a very curious creature." Sesshoumaru said calmly and coldly as he stopped using the chop sticks and picked up the spoon.
"Tell me Lady Zoe." He said just to annoy her again. "While I was talking with my ward you had the expression as if you badly wanted to say something. If you do by all means go ahead. I'm happy to hear your 'opinion' on the subject. Because I trust that where you come from it's different. What? Do human females get to pick the man over there?" He asked curiously.
Rin ate quietly and looked from Sesshoumaru to Zoe and back again. "You get to pick your husband? That is strange..." Rin said giggling. "Sesshoumaru Sama let me choose. But I don't know men. I only know Sesshoumaru Sama. So I told him he could find me one." She said giggling. "He knows them better. Rin doesn't want someone that's not worthy of Rin." She said cutely and giggling as she looked to Zoe.

Inuyasha, prince of the west and lord of his own 'small' part of japan called very appropriately 'Inuyasha's Forest' came into the castle of the west practically growling his way through.
"Too many dammed servants in this f**k**g place. How's anyone supposed to get anywhere." He said growling at them to leave him the fuck alone. It was always like this when he came, they all started annoying him with 'can we serve you anything' this and 'do you require anything' that; It was frustrating for the hanyou. Specially because he wasn't used to it at all.
He burst into the dinning hall knowing that this was Sesshoumaru's meal time. He didn't even see the woman at the table now.
"Sesshoumaru when you finish eating that crap you call food we need to talk." Inuyasha said with the usual gruff tone and non caring attitude about his word choice. When he got to Sesshoumaru's side he ruffled Rin's head, and then finally saw the woman sitting at the table. He raised an eyebrow as his ears tweaked sideways curiously. "Who the fuck are you? Gods? You actually let one inside this time? What you like this one? Don't tell me you actually picked one cause if you start settling down and popping out pups now we're in more trouble that I thought." Inuyasha said not really even giving his 'big brother' a chance to speak properly.
Rin for one was in her chair just giggling at the two. She always loved when Inuyasha came over, because it was always barrels of fun to have him around. They where sooo different but so alike at the same time it was hilarious to her to watch them together. At least it was good that they weren't trying to kill each other anymore.... At least not 'all' the time.

Did he just called me ‘Lady’ Zoe?
For a moment there, she wanted to remind him of no formality needed, but chose not to. Logic intervened and reasoned with her, considering on how hard it must be to rid one self’s habit and mannerism. She supposed that being called Lady was okay, for now. After all, Japanese people are heavily based on high degree of polite manners and restraints on emotions, save for a few. Yes, for a few, as she eyed the young lady who sat across from her, giggling as much as she liked. So carefree and well protected by the demon lord, it was clear to her that the girl was happy living here.
Could women truly enjoy a lifestyle such as this?
Taking another bite of her meal, she observed the demon lord when he questioned her obvious need to say something. She only chose to say no such thing, considering how he warned her to not implant ideas from where she’s from into these delicate women’s head. However, she surprisingly understood why Rin would let her guardian choose a man for her. She would have done the same thing; it’s just all a matter of whether or not she’s happy with certain chosen man.
“Yes, women back home, get to choose a man of their liking. It isn’t quite a customary for the parents to choose a man, but it’s been done before.” Lowering the spoon, she picked up the two sticks, having watched Rin fed with the same utensils, “Yet, it is expected that women know what they’re looking for after a few dates, or rather, courting, if you would put it lightly. My kind accepts it, only on the term that we do not give away our virginity on a whim. It is valuable.” She recalled the many times her father preached her on her priceless item and understood what it can offer, “of course, I never dated since I have no interest, except to listen and watch what women tell me.” Seemingly to struggle to pick up a piece of meat off the plate with those two chopsticks, she looked up with a wry grin, “women are climbing up the status back home. They can live without the need for a man and create financial means for themselves. They do not allow men to belittle them. The majority of them, that is.”
The clashing sound of the door opened did not startle Zoe. She long since smelled him coming close to the dining room and continued eating as if nothing in the world would bother her. However, the way this bad-mouthed character spoke to the demon lord, Zoe ignored the need to suppress her curiosity and watched. Taking notice that he acknowledged her presence, she was about to introduce herself until his talk cut her off.
She ceased eating; a blank expression on her face was visible as she too closely watched Inuyasha. One would have suspected that she’d explode the minute she felt insulted, but the way Inuyasha spoke was beyond her need to explode. She so slowly shot him a sweet smile that seemed poisonous. Her kind were also known to choose a certain individual they did not like or had been crossed by, to become their slaves and do whatever they please once death has been called for. Zoe had never found or met anyone enough to make her put anyone on her list until now. “You just made my list, Inuyasha.” While Makais are generally humanitarians, they can be brutally cruel to those they enslave, choosing to send these poor souls into eternity of pain and fear for all they choose.
Oh, just how tempted Zoe was to pull out that scythe of hers. Yet, she chose not to, reminding herself to think like her father. Stay calm under pressure and she’ll do fine unless this stupid dog-man chooses to press that ‘red’ button again. It was clear that she hated being demeaned just because she’s a woman and only made to create children as its sole responsibility.

"To each society it's own I suppose. If it works for you and your people." Sesshoumaru said eating the broth slowly. He knew Inuyasha was coming. He could always feel his brother. His nerves already started to tense up just thinking about it. He wastched Zoe eatting trying to aliviate his nerves before the bomb exploded. Watching her trying to eat was amuzing but even more so was the look she was throwing his brother as he spoke.
He was of course by now used to all of his brother's obscenities. But it was very amusing watching someone else having to put up with it, that didn't like it either.
"INUYASHA!!" He said raising his tone just a bit. "Sit down and stuff that mouth of yours with something other than your foot for a moment." He said looking to his brother. After Inuyasha had taken a seat on his other side, he just took a breath.
"No, I have not chosen anything or anyone to mate.I m insulted that you would even think such a thing. You know very well I have no interest in taking a mate." He said taking a sip of water. "This is Princess Zoe. She going to be here for a while, to learn our traditions that is all. Lady Zoe is 'unfortunately' is my half brother Inuyasha." Sesshoumaru said rolling his eyes. He could see Inuyasha looking to Zoe curiously and looking to him weirded out. He understood his brother's reactions too. This castle never got visitors, Sesshoumaru found them too annoying. His brother knew that. While for Zoe it was clearly a 'demeaning' experience to be spoken too like that, it was a correct idea for his brother to get under the circumstances.
Sesshoumaru looked to Zoe though, a slight ghost of a smirk on his face. "Is the idea of being my betrothed that horrendous Lady Zoe, that you would place my brother on you 'makai list' because he thought it?" Sesshoumaru asked with a small smirk. But under that smirk there was a clear 'don't even think about it' protective look on his eyes. The eyes had the look of a inu protecting his little brother, an inu that would kill who ever he had too. Of course if you ever mentioned it to Sesshoumaru, he'd tell you where seeing things. Thank kami that Inuyasha was too 'blind' to ever see it.

Inuyasha got looks from the lady but really he didn't even think she'd be pissed at him. The idea didn't hit him that someone would be insulted cause he said that. After all every demon woman in Japan wanted to be mated to his brother. The idea that a woman existed that wouldn't want to be was....Well.......beyond weird to him.
When his brother told him to sit down he shrugged and did so. The maids brought over food for him, he started eating. After 20 years with Kagome by his side he had finally learned table manners. Much to his brother's relief.
"Well...Sorry but what do you expect. Never seen a woman in here, let alone a gorgeous one. I thought the sky had fallen or something." He said laughing, the whole other conversation of his brother with the lady went right over his head since he didn't have any idea what a makai was, let alone that Zoe was one of them, and of course Inuyasha was almost always blind to danger right in front of him.
"Well, you're gonna be living here I wish you luck then. This bastard ain't easy to put up with I can't imagine having to live with him." Inuyasha said eating and smirking. As he said that Sesshoumaru quickly and invisibly hit him over the head. "Hey! I told you last time to stop that crap. I ain't your f**k**g pup." He said to his brother. But he could see his brother rolling his eyes and drinking water.
Rin giggled through the whole thing, Zoe's anger towards Inuyasha was also something she didn't see.

Not that formality again! Even there’s a compromise!
Once again, the poor demoness chanted a mantra mentally. Sometime, she wondered if she should curse her mother for having to inherit the blasphemous temperamental problem. It was becoming too tiring and too bothersome. Even if she would like to have no tempers, she still could not help, but feel the constant arise of annoyance by things she disagreed with or disliked in general. It seemed that there’s a lot of work to be done if she’s going to get out of this era alive.
She eyed the demon lord as he reprimanded his so-called the little brother who had the worst foul mouth she ever heard from. What’s even harder is to imagine that those two were brothers, or rather, step-brothers. Immediately, a pair of cobalt eyes flickered to the lord’s direction, being questioned in regards to betrothal or courtship. “Yes, it is that horrendous. I already know what I look for in a man and if you’re going to ask, forget it,” she snapped lightly. It seemed the mantra hadn’t kicked in just yet.
The look on his face, again, she caught it. She instinctively had the idea that if she pointed what she saw, he would have denied it. He was a man who bore no emotions toward others, only except for anger or annoyance. It wasn’t that she feared him, but reconsidered making Inuyasha on her list, simply because she would have felt the same way if Blair was threatened as well.
The sound of Inuyasha’s ruff voice alerted Zoe, signaling her gaze back in his direction. The more she watched his behavior and the way he spoke, the more she realized that he was just simply a good-natured demon who had a rough tongue. She was even more surprised that he had table manners. One would’ve thought that a person who had foul mouth would also have horrible table manners. Not that she suddenly liked him just because he said something nice.
The mere scene of two brothers bickering, one being silent through action while the others protested in words brought laughter out of Zoe unexpectedly. How long as it been since she last laughed genuinely? She hadn’t realized that having a good laugh would relieve her of stress and impending doom of temper.
“Thank you, Inuyasha. I’ll do try to deal with your incorrigible brother. Fortunlatey, I’ll only be here for a year.”

Sesshoumaru blinked back raising an eyebrow when she snapped at him like that. The actual snapping didn't shock him as much as the words she said. Until now it had been an amusing game. But now he could clearly see why her mother had sent her off. She was worse than his brother. he hadn't thought that possible. If this is the way she acts when she is angry then she needs serious adjustments. Did she not stop to judge things at all? No, she just lets the anger guide her tongue. She was not the woman he had thought she was.
For all her thinking and all the 'high and mighty' attitude, she was just as bad at over judging people as anyone here. For a slight moment he had actually though she would be better at judging him than others where. Perhaps since she was a makai she would be more intelligent, more insightful. She would be able to see past his masks. But he had been wrong. She had not even been able to see that he had playing with her this entire time. His heart stopped at that, he berated himself for even daring to hope such a foolish thing.
"I would not worry about anyone mating me if I where you. I think you will be alone longer than I.... Lady." Sesshoumaru said in a voice that was just as cold as twenty years ago. He placed the spoon on the side of his plate, got up stoic and cold, and made his way out of the dinning room.
He completely forgot that Inuyasha was there for a moment. But when he neared the outside of the dinning hall, he stopped. "Coming little brother?! Or are you going to keep stuffing yourself." He said coldly and kept walking towards his office.

Inuyasha ate and watched Zoe, when she had laughed, he just smirked a bit. But he had kept quiet, and kept eating. He was waiting for it. He was waiting for the bomb to go off. He didn't know where this woman was from, but he had a feeling she was going to have to learn things quick. Specially when not to insult a demon lord, or better yet..when not to insult his brother.
Of course he could insult him when ever he wished. But they where brothers. They'd been doing it all their lives. But really....For a woman to just tell him that...in front of others.... Inuyasha knew it was a miracle she was even still alive. He looked to his brother out of the corner of his eyes. He knew his brother had never been insulted like that by a woman, and at first when he had come in it had looked like his brother was playing with her. He could tell the difference between his brother playing and his brother serious. Even though Sesshoumaru didn't think he could.
Inuyasha looked from Sesshoumaru to Zoe and back to his brother. Then he finally spoke and Inuyasha just watched him..... That was it?? He was just walking away....
Inuyasha had to sit there and blink.... He was walking away?? .... 'What the fuck??' was all that was running around in Inuyasha's mind right now. He was letting her live... After that insult.
When his brother was outside he looked to Zoe. "I don't know where you're from lady... But around here what you just said is a very very high insult... I'd stay away from him from now on if I where you." Inuyasha said for her own good. "And by the way, he was actually liking you. He don't play with anyone..." Inuyasha said just after Sesshoumaru called him. "I can't f**k**g believe he didn't even attack you...." Inuyasha said as he was going after his brother. "Rin ya better talk to her." Inuyasha said walking out of the room.
He reached Sesshoumaru. The two walked off silently to his brother's office.
----
Rin had sat there now. She was no longer giggling either. Not many women talked like that to her lord. It was as if the word had just exploded for her. She looked from Zoe to her lord, fully expecting to see him deal with her appropriately. When he just walked away she was as shocked as Inuyasha had been.
"Rin don't like you no more." She said pouting and getting up from the table. "Sesshoumaru Sama is very sensitive. He don't look it, but he is." She said pouting more as the maids came over and cleared the table, but none where looking to Zoe anymore. "Rin saw how he was treating you.... He was being nice. Why where you so mean?" She asked not understanding at all.

What just happened? Completely taken aback by turn of the event, Zoe realized she wounded up being the villain just now. She couldn’t figure out what she said or do wrong to turn everyone on the table, save for Inuyasha who gave her a warning just for her sake. What was even more baffling is that the young lady, the ward of the demon lord, now no longer liked her. She felt dismayed by the mere idea, when she settled on befriending her so that she could the way things worked in this era and just learn more about her.
Yet, it wasn’t the young lady who scorned her that was so shocking. But, what Inuyasha said about the demon lord’s interest in her is what perplexed her so strongly. Did he really have such interest in her when she only spit fire at his face? How could anyone like her when she’s in this state?
Now left suddenly alone in the dining room, she spotted few maids who hesitated coming close after such incident. Closing her eyes, “you can take these plates away,” she murmured lightly, “and as well as mine. I’m not hungry anymore.” Leaning back against the chair, she watched the maids clean up the table until she decided to leave the room, retreating back to her temporary bedroom in silence.
It had only been twenty minutes since she sat in her bedroom in sheer silence, now dressed in comfortable clothing she was accustomed to. Sitting on the ground, knees drawn against her knee with arms wrapped around, she stared at the murals on the wall. She contemplated on her behavior, analyzing the incidents which took place all in one day. The more she thought about it, the more she realized she allowed the stress she felt overwhelmed her, off-setting tremendous amount of temper. It was the stress of being dragged away from her hometown into the span of dimension after a brutal fight with her mother, the thought of being punished so severely as this, and realizing that she was cursed by her own mother to stay with a certain lord and forced to grow accustom with a lifestyle she was not used to. It was all too much for her, and what troubled her most is that her mother had the gut to kick her off. Her own mother. There had been times when she wished that she and her mother would share a gentle relationship, but all she ever dealt with were atrocious arguments that shed no hint of love.
Realizing it now, she felt a stinging tear, cobalt eyes widened with a grimace, “…so, I did want one. At the very least, appreciate me for who I am.” The silver cuffs vibrated with high-pitch whizz, startling Zoe into a yelp. She stood promptly as she watched the silver cuffs turned visible and glowed in sheer silver light, popping a rounded object. She stared at it, wondering what it was.
“Can you hear me?”
Stunned to disbelief, she couldn’t believe what she was hearing, “dad? Is that you?”
“Good, it’s working. Yes, it’s me.”
She watched as the silver orb contorted and expand wider and wider into the shape of a square, revealing the image of her father. “Ah, I see you’ve been crying.” Stiffened by the thought, she viciously wiped the tears away, “don’t do that to your pretty skin. Now, I don’t have much time before this communication runs out ‘til the first eclipse arrives.” Zoe’s father admonished lightly and cleared his throat, “Before you were forced here, I long since decided that it would do you good to go and travel for a while, not as punishment. Your mother must’ve heard me converse about this lightly with other guys.” There were apologetic look in his cobalt eyes, “don’t take this as punishment, and when your trip here is up, you are free to travel to other places until you are ready to head back.”
“That is, when I am not immature anymore.” Zoe sarcastically pointed out; reminded of the incident she just pulled a while ago. “You are not immature. You have your mother’s temper, but you inherited my insight and judgment skills.” Zoe’s father pointed out lightly, “you may not believe this, but you also have your mother’s strength.” Noticing that she’s glowering at him, “Ah, not physically, but emotionally and intellectually. However, you do need to learn to control your temper; otherwise, you lose your insight and judgment. That is your downfall.” The squared object flickered lightly, “that is all I wanted to say and do not try to conform yourself tightly into a society. Stay true to yourself, but always improve.”
Zoe watched as the image of her father flickered slightly and faded away, not only until did she shot him a smile, “thank you.” The screen blackened and morphed into a circular object once again, only to be returned into her silver cuff once more. “Looks like I won’t see your face until the first eclipse arrive,” taking noticing that this particular device had used up its last energy. Releasing a big sigh, she marched out of the room, intending to practice once more before meeting up with the demon lord again. She needed to apologize to him, now that she realized the behavior she saw all this time had been nothing but a mere play for him. How foolish had she been, allowing her own temper to cloud her mind? Yes, it is her downfall, something she needed to improve and gain control of.
She should be appalled; after all, her strongest skill was her universal telekinesis which is tied directly with her mind. Spotting another maid down the hall, she inquired lightly “pardon, do you happen to have an outside training arena?” Noticing that the maid was staring at her rather curiously, she realized it was because of her clothes once again. She grinned lightly, “I’m a guest here, hailed from another country.” She couldn’t very well tell everyone she’s a Makai. No one would believe her anyways, and plus, she didn’t want anyone to go off finding a red stone.
It was only several minutes later that Zoe was introduced into an outside training area. “Ah, thanks!” The maid bowed gracefully and slipped away to do her other chores. Pulling her usual pre-mediated exercises, she eyed one of the trees full of fruits and curved a smirk, “today, you’re one of my victims.”

Sesshoumaru kept walking to his office when he got there he simply st down and just got silent.
"Finally... i thought you weren't gonna stop...Geezzzz." Inuyasha said sighing and flopping down onto a seat directly in front of his brother's desk. He eyed his brother, he sat there silently watching him for a long time. He'd never seen this reaction out of his brother before. " What you liked her that bad that you're gonna go cold on us again? Come on Sesshoumaru... She hasn't been here that long cause i didn't even pick up her scent in the castle halls. You said she was here for learning... Hells Kagome was horrible when she got here too." Inuyasha said and then got the cold stare from his silent brother. "Don't give me that look, i know you ain't gonna attack I disagree...so just quit it." He added.
"I do not ...I repeat... Do not want to talk about it!" Sesshoumaru said pulling out scrolls and starting to pretend to read them.
"Yeah, that works....On a 10 year old pup maybe." Inuyasha said snorting. "She's probably sorry..." He said with a semi - teasing tone to see if that would get him to say something.
"I do not care.... She can rot. It was a mistake allowing her to be here in the first place... I don't know what I was thinking...." Sesshoumaru said still on the 'pretending to read thing'. The miracle was that he didn't notice he was actually 'talking' to his brother. Inuyasha knew that was a big sign.....This lady had really gotten to him.
"So you let her in, and the first day didn't go according to your plans. Big whoops...So what you gonna do now? Hide in your office? I don't know my brother to hide from anything... Certainly not a woman..." Inuyasha said with a 'keh' tone in his voice, still tempting and teasing his brother into thinking straight, and not thinking with his hurt ego...Or what ever it was she had hurt....Cause Inuyasha wasn't really sure yet...
" I am not hiding! I am working. Now speak about what ever it is you came to speak about." Sesshoumaru said stopping and looking to his brother.
After about an hour of discussing other things. Inuyasha left his brother along and shook his head walking down the hall ways. As he walked out his ears tweaked when he picked up the sound of someone using the arena.
He walked out silently watching her train. Raising an eyebrow as he watched her, he did shake his head a bit. She had moves he'd never seen but they looked okay. She fought like his brother... Trained and meticulous.
"You and my brother would train very well together if ya hadn't pissed him like ya did...." He said walking closer to her. "Actually ya didn't piss him off. Pissing him off is being dead in seconds. I think you hurt his ego..or hurt is pride or heart or something.... I'm not sure....It's not something I've seen before... Actually i hadn't seen anyone allowed in here before... Other than Rin... and Jaken... But he's a servant so I guess he don't count. Listen to me I'm rambling like my mate." Inuyasha said laughing. He'd grown up a lot in the last 20 years. He was sure she wouldn't even recognize him if she had met him all those years ago.
"He's in his office pretending to work. But I know he's thinking about ya." If he didn't kill ya already then he won't...As long as you don't say something stupid again." He said with smirk. "Just remember with my brother, what you see is not what you really have... Just... look deeper, but don't show him you're looking.... Surprise him... Keep him curious. It's best for you."

For the past hour, Zoe devoted her time to extensive training as usual. Only that this time, she chose not to use a single stone created by her mother which allowed the stone to become a punching bag. The trick was it is not a normal punching bag by any means. Instead, it molds itself into another person, a direct image of its wielder who wishes to fight himself, testing his strength. It was a perfect way to push the training level a notch.
Garbed only in turquoise kimono with its front casually opened and tightened with a golden sash wrapped around her waist, revealing a pair of black pants and white shirt underneath, Zoe settled and calmed after a near thirty minutes of self movement training, précising every moments she recalled. Both hands fingered against each other at the tip lightly in front of her stomach, she eyed the tree, deciding it was time to murder these poor fruits from inside out. It was a new technique she was working on, causing an explosion from within a fruit without having its outer layer cracked. It proved to be futile but not enough to slay her determination. She could do it and she will do it.
Staring at the bundle of fruits, she revived her concentration and zeroed her focus on the center of the fruits carefully. It was not by any means a forceful attack; but a delicate method she was trying to pull. Frowning slightly, she found that she could not quite pin-point its center axis until Inuyasha busted in, destroying her concentration and causing a cluster of fruits to crack and explode. She blinked, surprised by the explosion and mildly annoyed that she was distracted.
She wasn’t mad at Inuyasha by any means. Rather, she was annoyed with herself, allowing the distraction to manipulate and affect her telekinesis. Rubbing the tip of her forehead, she listened what the hanyou said. Still, she was surprised by the sudden news that the demon lord had an interest in her. She even questioned herself, wondering what he saw in her. It wasn’t by any means a lack of confidence in herself, but she typically scare men off with her unpredictability and temper. She was fine with it, being single meant freedom to her at the very least. Watching the hanyou further increased her analysis of him. He was more than what she initially thought, not allowing her first impression of him to taint her judgment.
Suddenly, she sprouted a mischievous grin, “I know. When I said that you made my list, Sesshoumaru gave me the look that he wouldn’t allow it. You are his precious little brother, even if he doesn’t show it.” When temper was not in the way, she exuded confidence and charisma. She was becoming more like herself without the stress. Apparently, having a little talk with her father earlier helped. She was obviously the type who liked to smile or reveal an impish grin.
“I suppose an apology won’t work, hm?” She was watching Inuyasha curiously, seemingly open to suggestions, “just pop in and ask him question? Unless I have to pull an amazing case of klutz attack?” At the mere thought of falling over on purpose irked her somewhat, but if it was going to make the demon lord smirk rather than frown or shoot her with a cold stare, then so be it.

Inuyasha wondered if the explosion had been something she had meant to happen or if it had been cause he had surprised her. But he hadn't thought he'd surprise her. He had thought she would smell him coming...or something... Most demons did after all. She must have been really concentrating. As she spoke the first thing she said made his ears stand erect on top of his head, in pure shock. He just cracked up, he couldn't help it.
"Precious...and me are two things Sesshoumaru would never put together. Now I know you're not reading him right." Inuyasha said cracking up. "Fuck he spent the first 200 years of my life either throwing me away or wanting to kill me. I wouldn't call that thinking of me as precious." He said still laughing. "Nah... what you saw was territory. He thinking only he has 'the honor of killing me' that's the only reason he does anything to protect my a s s from others." He said as the laughter finally died down. It wasn't hard things for him to say anymore. Him and Sesshoumaru had worked things out during the last 20 years after the fight with Naraku. well as well worked out as the two could get anyways.
"Apologizing might work. He could take it well, or he could think of it as a weakness in you. But ya never know with him. Since you're not from around here, he might accept it. Not that he'll forgive ya easy...But he might accept it." He said smirking. "Your trick will have to be showing ya didn't mean it. You'll have to work his ego and his pride. So....Good luck." Inuyasha said looking up at the sky and the setting sun. "Fuck Kagome is gonna skin me...See ya later Lady Zoe good luck on my stuck up ass brother... Oh... bring Rin flowers after. She loves those things." He said as he started running and leaping off. He was way late and he knew it.

He may be nice and all, but his language is truly vulgar…I suppose that cannot be helped.
The last two hundred years of trying to annihilate or beat him by his own brother? She supposed that she shouldn’t be surprised. She could tell that Sesshoumaru could have been cold like the land of arctic straight from the start or somewhere in the middle until now. At the very least, that demon lord is a changed man, she surmised.
Then how do you explain the look he gave me when I threatened to put you on my list?
For a moment, she keenly watched the younger sibling with a knowing smirk. She shrugged it off, deciding to let Inuyasha believe as he wished. Perhaps there are some things meant to be kept as a secret and overlook for one’s sake. Her smirk quickly died as she stared at him in pure skepticism. How in the world is she going to stroke some man’s ego when she only met him on the first day? She didn’t know well enough to do such thing. Perhaps apology is the best answer and is due in time.
Not again, not the formality. “Thank you, I’ll think of something. And please, just call me Zoe from now on.” She knew he would visit again in the future and would probably meet him then. Bring flowers for the young lady she obviously upset earlier? That young-looking Rin? She supposed that she’ll head leave the ground of the castle and venture into the village belonging to the castle to buy some flowers. It wouldn’t look good if she gathered flowers from the castle grounds instead.
Stifling the pure need to laugh at the thought of a woman wanting to skin the poor hanyou alive, she watched him leave before she entered into the castle. Unfortunately, she wounded up lost in the maze of hallways. She knew the scent is there, it just that the hallway was not making it a clear cut-way to get to him until she settled on the help from one of the maid. Obviously, the maid was nervous as she guided her directly to the office of the demon lord.
She blinked in mild surprise as the maid bid her good luck.
Is it really that bad?
She began to fathom on how she should apologize to him. With no ideas come to mind, she shrugged and decided to go with things in the spur of moment. Sliding the door opened, she marched right in and stood in front of the table, now having forgone the thought of what she was wearing again. “I’m sorry.” It was clear that she was genuinely apologetic and bend over her waist slightly to get a good look at him, “I’m sorry,” she repeated.

Since his brother had gone Sesshoumaru had been starring at that same line. He finally decided to give up. No one was watching anyways So what did it matter. He got up from the chair and went over to the window. From there he could see the gardens. He sighed mentally looking at them.
What had he been thinking? Had he been thinking? He couldn't really tell anymore. It was very annoying when feelings got between his thoughts. what had he expected? Friendship? It was ridiculous... He didn't have friends... never did.... Did Rin count? or Jaken? No... Perhaps they did.... He couldn't tell. Perhaps he did want someone to truly know him... He shook his head at the thought. He was going weak like his father, was that what was happening to him? Was he going to pup some bitch next? Kami he better not...
He sat back down and was still thinking as he looked at the mural of his great father on the wall. It had been like that when Zoe found him. He mildly wondered how she had found his office. Someone must have shown her the way, he supposed.
As she said her second 'i'm sorry' he kept looking at the mural of his father. After a while he finally looked at her, though his look was cold, stoic.
"Who sent you? Rin or my brother?" He asked her coldly, not believing her appology. She didn't look like the type that was sorry for anything. He leaned back into his chair as a breeze from the outside made his long silver hair just dance behind him making him look ethereal in front of the dark inlaid wood chair.
For a split second he was annoyed that she was seeing his office. After all it was a mess in there. He realized wen she was in there that it shouldn't be how a lord keeps his office, but oh well many people told him he couldn't be perfect.. so maybe this could be his one imperfection, since he truly thought he didn't have any more.
