After working with the group of guards for nearly two days straight, Seishii came to acknowledge that there are some guards who aren’t just up to par and others were just fooling around. How annoying it is to have guards surrounding the castle who do not understand what their occupation requires?
So far, the guards that work outside the castle, yet still affiliated with the demon lord of the west, were the ones who took their jobs seriously. That much, he appreciated and felt secured that there were some demons that took it seriously and yearned to protect their homes and their lord. The mere sight of rabbits falling victim to a certain plant poison was unnerving and even more so, to see the demon lord anxious and worried for his health. Never would he come across and witness and to even acknowledge that even this man had one fatal flaw that could so much as one piece of normal fruit or a meal would have him on a deathbed in an instant.
It had been nearly an hour since he departed from a small group of guards, deciding that being with them could only create a distraction for him personally. What were they chatting about? Why all the laugh and just littering about the area? Sure, one particular guard managed to catch a whiff of a lead connecting with the plant poison and they all followed suit. Yet, somewhere in the long run, they became distracted and communicated way too much for him.
In the end, he left, figuring it wouldn’t bring harm if he sought this perpetrator out himself. Soft crackles of twigs under the weight of his, he gently treads amongst the forest, keeping his trained eye on a single target. He long since spotted the woman who purposely placed those plants among the rabbits. If it had been the other guards, he wouldn’t be surprised if the guards were to be astounded to learn that it was a female all this time, who planted a poison among the rabbits.
It took him a while to get there; after several questionings among the other demons and humans alike which was an easy job for him. After all, he could easily disguise himself as human when he wished. Before he could take another step forward, a nearby sound caught his attention. It was a certain smell of someone he was familiar with and hissed silently to himself.
Why did that same person had to choose the time to come here? Even the woman spotted someone nearby and luckily not him. Straightening his back, he decided to let the woman be and deal with the distracter who barged in. After all, he now recognized her scent and he could easily follow her whenever he wishes.

Inuyasha, prince of the west, and hanyou walked what where his lands really. He never thought he would end up like his stuck up ass brother, just endlessly walking his lands. How Sesshoumaru did it was beyond him. He found 'the' most boring waste of time ever. Yeah, he saw the necessity of it. Intruders and demons looking for trouble...Humans looking for trouble. All of it meant he had to spend part of his day just running and walking around his lands like an idiot. Until he had to do this himself he just thought Sesshoumaru was out there looking for trouble or just doing it cause he was bored. Now he knew better. Still... It was idiotic.
Then he smelled it. His brother's guard. What the fuck where they doing in his lands? If Sesshoumaru had a problem he'd come himself, he don't send guards to get him... Unless it's serious... or he's sooo sooo busy he can't. All reasons didn't make Inuyasha feel any better about having them in his lands.
He took to the trees and ran towards the scent. He saw the lady walking away from the guard, and raised an eyebrow. He looked to the guard from up the tree. The guy looked familiar but Inuyasha couldn't put his finger on why.
"Ya lost? or your master sent your ass all the way out here for something?" He asked jumping off the branch and landing gracefully in front of the guard. Inuyasha couldn't get the look of weirdness off his face, the guy was just... weird... Why did he get this feeling from him?! Inuyasha didn't get it. He was gonna have to talk to Kagome about it later.

Casually clad in guard uniform as the rest of others, it came as no surprise to Seishii that he could be easily identified by other demons for being affiliated with the youkai lord of the west. He could only wish that the other guards would not misbehave when they’re out, conducting a widespread search for the perpetrator. Even still to this day, the young future heir could not make a final decision as whether or not should he reveal his true identity in a close circle of family members, or the prospect ones, that is.
It proved to be risky and it could very well easily mess up the future.
Standing still amidst the thick forest, Seishii waited for the other individual to barge in. The scent was familiar and long since recognized it to be Inuyasha. With a slight turn of his neck to the right, he watched the figure in fiery red outfit gracefully jumped from high up in a tree.
Suddenly, he sprouted a friendly grin toward the hanyou, despite having received a rather uncouth questioning. He might as well be friendly than to start a fight. Not that he was likely to do so. “No sir.” He bowed gracefully in return, ignoring the obvious look on Inuyasha’s face, “I was dispatched to pursue a perpetrator who infiltrated the western castle.”
Straightening his back, a pair of watchful cobalt blue eyes analyzed the hanyou who stood before him, peering a good close of his face. He recognized the look on his face. Suspecting that the hanyou somehow had a familiar sense of him, he had to grant him some respect; because, not even Sesshoumaru could gain a sense of familiarity with him. Of course, that man didn’t know that he was going to have a son in the future. “It is a pleasure meeting you, Prince Inuyasha. I am Seishii.”

The kid was young. Too young if you asked Inuyasha. But who knew why he was a guard. Inuyasha didn't really care. He must have shown something to be allowed to be a guard. But Inuyasha couldn't get the feeling off of him that there was something about this guy... Something he wasn't sure about, and yet it wasn't bad. It was just unsure. Though he did have to crack a grin back. The guy was smiling more than he knew any other guard to do so.
"First things off never call me 'prince' again. It's just Inuyasha. No Lord shit either. I hate all that formality shit my stuck up ass brother does." He said with a 'keh' at the end. "Now what the hell did this person do to be chased? I can't imagine just 'infiltrating' my brother's castle could get someone chased by a bunch of guards this far." He said with his usual gruffness but continued to watch the young guard.
"What the heck are ya anyways? You're not full inu I know that much, so don't start off lying about it. I don't freaking give a crap anyways but no full silver inu ever has blue eyes." Inuyasha said looking at the guy. "And you might pass off in front of my brother, but I'd quit trying so hard to be a plain guard if I where you. You're probably just lucky as hell that he don't give 'servants' a second look." Inuyasha said grinning. "And I just say this cause I was there a while ago. I didn't see ya so you're very resent addition." Inuyasha said leaning in, smirking.
"You look like that female that was there... What the fuck was her name??" Inuyasha said stopping to think. "Zoe. Don't tell me.... he's getting more 'visitors..?!" He asked curious. He was talking to much. Maybe asking too much.. But this was just hilarious to him. His brother never had this many strange people in the castle, and two in less than a month was too much curiosity.
Of course Inuyasha didn't know about the rabbit thing yet, When he did he'd go ballistic. Not that he knew how truly serious it was, but he did know enough. Enough to know his brother didn't eat anything else, and enough to know his brother didn't budge on that.

While the grin has died down, a genuine smile was still visible and Seishii nodded in understanding. It made sense and understood that the hanyou was not used to a formal way of life and it wouldn’t sit well for him to have someone calling him lord, prince, or anyting with the –sama included. “I apologize.” He bowed again and mentally kicked himself for that. Of course, even Inuyasha wouldn’t appreciate the constant bowing.
He might as well relax a bit around him.
Though, it doesn’t mean that he will lower his guard down to a bare minimum and risk having someone like Inuyasha find out his real identity. Well, it would be hard to pin-point that; after all, no one would ever think that a future heir has arrived in the past. It sounded absurd and too unreal; but it wasn’t enough for Seishii to just drop the guard and walk around as he pleased. However, he wasn’t sure as whether or not the hanyou should acquire the knowledge of recent incident regarding the rabbits. “It’s a serious crime.” He shrugged lightly.
For a moment there, he had to take a step back since the hanyou was peering so close at him for his taste. His genuine smile only broadened lightly, “I’ve been told that many times,” he said, chuckling lightly, “I know I am a half silver inu, but the other half, I do not know. I was adopted.” He arched an eyebrow at the way Inuyasha spoke about Sesshoumaru and having a second look. Yes, he could understand that. After all, what other reasons could there be, aside that curious woman which undoubtedly plagued the demon lord’s mind?
For god’s sake; he was right there when they flirted with each other, much to his dismay.
“Yes, I was just employed a few days ago.” He rested a hand on the hilt of his sword casually and not in a threatening stance, “is it really that uncommon for Lord Sesshoumaru to not have visitors?”

"I can count in one hand the number of visitors he's allowed to stay in that place since I was born. So yeah you can f**k**g say it's uncommon. It's even more curious to me that he's picked a new guard... Specially one like you. He must have really had his brain some where else that day." Inuyasha said laughing at that. "Just so you know I can tell you're hiding something. But as long as you don't try anything funny against my brother I'll let it slip. Just remember I'll be paying attention." Inuyasha said with that smirk of his. People always thought he and his brother still hated each other, and that both where alone in the world and where easy to pick off. Well... Some people thought that more than others. But it wasn't really true. The two brothers now had a 'mutual agreement'... No one would hurt the other except maybe for them. It was simple really. They had accepted each other, and of course only one sibling was worthy enough of killing the other. It was that simple. Weird... but simple.
"What's the crime? Don't tell 'it's a serious crime' I can tell that already, I ain't stupid...Contrary to what others may think. So just spit it out!" Inuyasha said crossing his arms. "Someone try something on my brother or Rin? I know Sesshoumaru can take care of himself. If someone tried something he would have simply killed them. He wouldn't bother sending guards out to chase them." Inuyasha said trying to think of what it could be. He looked to the guard. Trying to pin point it...
"Who's guarding the castle now? It's not the inner guards is it? Cause god those bastards are idiots!" Inuyasha said shaking his head.

Seishii had to hand it to Inuyasha; he hadn’t expected the hanyou to be this receptive of his surrounding as of this time period. Just because Inuyasha was picking something up about him doesn’t mean that Seishii will spit out the answers right here and there. Yes, he had to hand it to him and only responded with a genuine smile; something which was rarely found among the guards. He was the easygoing type, though not as easygoing in certain situations when one least expects it. He can be downright cruel and cold if he wanted to; he had that trait from his father. “Do not worry; I will bring no harm to your brother. I would rather die than watch him die in my hands.”
And the same goes for the woman.
He blinked, watching the hanyou cross his arms as he ordered the answer out of him. Well, he is a guard and might as well oblige. “A perpetrator poisoned the rabbits with a noxious plant called Scopolia.” Really, he had to give it to this hanyou. Quirking an eyebrow, he chuckled lightly at the mention of how the guards were back at the western castle. Indeed, the hanyou was right about the inner guards. Even he was surprised by the behavior conducted amongst the guards.
Even he wondered if he should express his concerns to the demon lord even if he had been around just for a few days. Maybe Inuyasha can do the job, but then, he probably won’t. Such siblings like the two of them was confusing, even for him. “Ah, the outer guards are still guarding the castle.” Now, those guards were the one to be trusted. The inner guards had it too easy and therefore, became languid. Resting a hand on the hilt of his sword in a relaxed manner, he did not do so in a threatening stance and spoke, “I left the group comprised of inner guards.” He frowned lightly, “they are milling about the area indolently and joked too much.”
He raised a free hand and pointed in a direction off to his left, “a woman left in that direction. I believe she is the one who slaughtered the rabbits with Scopolia plant.”

At his first answer Inuyasha relaxed a bit. Normally he didn't bother believing any demon he didn't know. But this one, something told him he could believe this one when he said that. The guy wasn't afraid of his brother. He could tell that much... Inuyasha didn't know what it was the guy was feeling for his brother. But he could trust it. It was weird as fuck... But he could trust it just the same.
Then when he said what had happened in the castle he cursed ten ways to sunday. "And those freaking bastards are just f**k**g around the forest like it's a picnic day?" Inuyasha said after all the cursing. "f**k**g stupid idiotic bastards don't realize my brother....will...." He said then stopped himself from saying any more.
He looked towards where he had seen the strange woman, sniffed a bit and rapidly jumped up to the trees and ran after her scent. He'd be dammed if anyone was going to kill his brother. No matter how much his brother annoyed the hell out of him, Inuyasha respected him enough to know he didn't deserve to die of starvation, and he knew that's what would happen cause his brother wouldn't eat anything else.
"Wait till I get my hands on them. They'll think Sesshoumaru is light." Inuyasha said still cursing. "f**k**g war starting with humans and they're acting like a bunch of pansies." He said just again cursing to himself. If the guard followed him or not it wasn't his problem. Though he preferred the guard to follow cause he did prefer his brother not find out about this. No need to let the bastard know he got worried about him.
He caught up with the female soon enough, he noticed she noticed he was catching up with her, she tried running faster. But the hanyou was faster. Inuyasha jumped down from the tree landing in front of her, and instantly after landing pulled out Tetsaiga.
"Talk or I'll cut you up right here." Inuyasha said gruffly looking at her clearly meaning every word.
"Pri.....nce... Inuyasha...? I am ....sorry.... I am on an errand for Lord Sesshoumaru... Please let me pass it's very important..." The woman said but to bad for her she couldn't lie to save her life.
Inuyasha smirked evilly and Tetsaiga started humming. "Try again bitch! I'll say it one more time. TALK or I cut!" Inuyasha said gruffer this time. Sesshoumaru might hide what he was feeling, Inuyasha never bothered. He was pissed, he didn't mind who saw it.
The woman looked to him, trying to come up with her most innocent sorry look. "Pri.....nce Inuyasha... I have no idea what you wish." She said trying to sound weak and helpless, all things she was not.

Standing amidst the thick forest, the young guard with the relaxed composure watched the hanyou, mindly surprised. How in the world could a hanyou like him think up the most creative, but vulgar statements? Seishii couldn’t produce more than ten creative ways to express himself offensively though verbally. The minute he pointed a finger in one direction, Inuyasha was already off to hunt the woman down that he suspected to be the perpetrator to the rabbit poisoning.
Hmm..he’s quick to catch and then talk.
How different the hanyou was from Lord Sesshoumaru. It only served to give them each their own uniqueness and still related by blood. Releasing a sigh, the guard did not rush, ambling in one direction with ease; though one could say differently about the state of the forest it was in. There were too many overthrown bushes, thorns, hidden roots everywhere. Luckily, he did not stumble as his mother easily would have, often constantly watched his footing.
It did not take long for him to arrive, as he long since heard the ongoing conversation. Those two were definitely quite noisy, though the woman had a rather hushed voice, seemingly trying to tremble with fear. Actually, she is trembling with fear, only because she is suffering the wrath of a hanyou prince who now stood before her with his enormous sword drawn out.
“Easy, easy,” Seishii sighed, trying to cool the hanyou down a bit, and walked straight into the clearing where he gained a good look of the woman. She appeared pitiful and somewhat frail and slender really; but looks can be deceiving. “What kind of errand do you have?”
The woman, obviously an inu of some type, stared at the guard. She did not respond quickly as she had with the hanyou prince. It was clear as day that she held no respect for someone who is a guard except those of royalty.
Seishii’s cobalt blue eyes narrowed and took a few steps forward, edging close to the woman who stood her ground. With just a hand raised, he slid his finger claw against her skin, drawing trickle of blood. Rather than striking out, the woman stared at him and he blatantly shot her his charming smile. “It would do you good if you simply tell us. Otherwise, you should opt for Inuyasha slicing you in half instead of my method.” He had a taste of her blood, licking it clean off his finger tip, calmly as he usually was.

Inuyasha kept the sword up and looked to the woman. When the guard came closer and told him to take it easy he just rolled his eyes.
"Keh!" He said keeping his sword up to the woman anyways. He never learned to listen, he was not about to start now thanks for a guard of his brother's. He watched what the guard did, how he did it and raised a questioning eyebrow. The guy, looked like his brother, and now he was as cold as his brother when dealing with this type of thing; And Inuyasha realized he was only 'trying' to act like a guard. He didn't like it. This was like telling Miroku he couldn't touch asses. He did it, but you could tell all these years he didn't like not doing it. he did it to keep his cheek from being hit every ten minutes. In his age he couldn't take it like he did when he was younger. Inuyasha kept wondering who the kid was as he looked to the lady.
"Tell us what the fuck you where doing in the castle and I'll think about your life. Don't tell us and I won't." Inuyasha warned. "I'm telling you it's a better bargain than if I leave you to him or take you to be dealt with by my brother. You know I'm right. This is his mess anyways. I'll be more than happy to drag your ass back to him. If you're really on an errand for him then you wouldn't have to fear would ya?!" Inuyasha said and smirked cause the woman just lept from frightened to terrified.
The woman took a few steps back from the guard holding her throat and looking to him shocked and frightened. Then Inuyasha spoke again and she shook her head now terrified for her life. Truly terrified. She had been promised that if she did things right nothing would harm her. She had done things right, she had done them the way she had been told. How was she supposed to know killing the rabbits would kill Sesshoumaru. She didn't. Her bosses did. Her bosses knew everything, they had been there after all. They had been there when Sesshoumaru was born, when he started eating, and when he first got sick and nearly died. They had been hoping and wishing this entire time that Sesshoumaru died. He hadn't he had only gotten stronger which they hadn't thought he would. Now they where taking matters into their own hands... So to speak.
"They promised me that I wouldn't get hurt... That no one would get hurt...Only the rabbits... I only spread it on their feed. Nothing else. No one got hurt. Why are you after me?" The lady said trembling and holding her neck, keeping herself away from the guard as much as possible.
"WHO!!!!!! Who the fuck ordered you to do it!!!!!!!" Inuyasha ordered growling. He wasn't about to explain things to this idiotic woman.
"The...The..... the.... healers of the west....My prince... They... they... said that they......where sick, that they had to be dealt with by the Lord was too stubborn.... So they had to do it for his own good...." The lady said not lying in the least. She knew she was had now. Now it was all about preserving her own life. "They gave me what to feed them, then gave me orders to go to the south lands and meet someone there. That is all I was told... I promise...."
