AIDA
Age: Appears 21, but she is really nearing 200 years old.[/size]
Gender: Femme.
Species: Youkai
Subspecies: kyūbi no kitsune or, nine tailed fox.
Occupation: Poisonmaker
Alliance: ARASHIMERU
Choice of Weapon(s):
A halberd, which is almost always on her person. It is silver handled, silver bladed, the blade being in the shape of a feather. It is light-weight, and more often than not, used as a walking stick rather than an offensive item.
Dubbed Seven Strike, for it has some very unique abilities, which are explained below.
Seven Strike has been passed down in her family for generations, with the tale that a wind sprite has been trapped inside, thus giving it powers of wind. Who knows if it is true or not; Aida is not one to complain. At least she can protect herself.
Battle Specialties & Flaws:
Inari's Curse
• Despite the name, Aida does not find this to be a curse. At will, she is able to transform into a small, animalistic version of herself. Her tails are still super fluffy, her fur is the same color all around ( save for a few light spots on the tip of her ears, tail and nose ). When next to a normal sized person, she only reaches their ankles. In this state, she is obviously not able to use her halberd for defending herself, so instead, the wind helps her move swiftly, so fast it's almost like she is the wind herself.
Gale Force
• Aida has control of the wind, in some aspects. She cannot control it completely, but when it is blowing, she is able to manipulate the wind around her to do her bidding. The power of her wind depends on how hard it is blowing. Small gusts and breezes provide no power, and if aimed at someone, the most they'll do is stumble. Though, if it is storming and there is a strong, fast wind... she could knock someone down.
Wind Paralysis - [ Weapon ]
• Her halberd has some very unique abilities, indeed. The most offensive of her abilities, the Paralysis is activated only when she has a clear mind, free of anger and rage. Though, anyone who knows her knows this is... nearly impossible. The halberd glows a bright silver, and when she swings, small gusts of wind sprout forth, blowing at such a high rate it almost seems impossible to breathe. It almost always stuns her enemies, perhaps even knocking one over, knocking the wind out of them, so she has a means of escape.
Flaws
• Aida can handle her halberd pretty well, her father trained her every day she lived at home until she honed her skills. However, because she gets so hot-headed and angry at the drop of a pin, most of her powers cannot be awakened when she wants. This is a major flaw, especially if she is under attack from someone. While she is very skilled with using her weapon, if she lashes out in a blind rage, almost all focus is lost and she does not really pay attention to where she is swinging the thing... Most times, it ends up her being the one learning a lesson.
Physical Appearance:

Aida wears the most traditional of clothes. Short robe-like dresses, kept together by a thick waistband around her waist. One would know these as Kimonos. She has many of the same style dresses, only some are light blue, others pink, or even a light orange-pink. Delicately stitched into the sleeves and bottom are various floral patterns, sometimes a group of blossoms, other times just a lone flower.
And even though her dresses might seem elegant, oftentimes, she does not wear them as such. Her shoulders are often showing, and if it wasn't for cloth bandages bound around her chest, her cleavage might pop out as well.
Her thighs are bare, from her knees down are not. Long white socks cover her calves, and wooden sandals adorn her feet.
Powdery blue hair falls to the ground, though it is held together like pig-tails; her hair is parted, and hangs loosely until the middle of her back, then it is bound together by that same bandage material. A little more hair is left open, and then another binding, and then the end of her hair. Sometimes she puts it up in a bun, sometimes she lets it hang down.
Aida also has nine super fluffy tails. They are each as big as a giant pillow, and they are so fluffy that sometimes they get lost amongst themselves, making them look like one massive tail. Extremely comfortable to lay on.
Overall Personality:
+ loyal
+ trustworthy
+ protective
+ sentimental
+ can be caring
- hot-headed
- rash
- blunt
- stubborn
- impatient
Not many know Aida, simply because she can get a bit of a temper... once riled up, you don't want to mess with her.
She is impatient, hot-headed, stubborn, and annoyed with almost anything. It's amazing that she can put up with some of the people that she cares for. She hates compliments, or being coddled. At least, she shows this on the outside. Deep down, she tries to be a bit sentimental, but all that ever comes out are snide remarks.
Though, she is ridden with guilt after she is mean to anybody, or they show that she has hurt their feelings, so she tries her best to make it up to them, even if her way of "helping" is a bit... off. "Oh, quit being a baby..." or something along those lines.
History:
Born and raised in a group of mainly men was not too fun for Aida.
Her mother died at a fairly early age for a Youkai, of complications Aida never knew of. Her father kept it a secret, and to this day she still does not know. The girl never really thought it was important, she did not know her mother, so as far as she knew, it was like a stranger had died.
The lack of a female presence is what could have caused Aida to have such a tough exterior. Her father pushed her to work with her Halberd, day and night, trying to get her to be like her older brothers. He was so proud of them, having a daughter just put a niche in his plans.
Aida dealt with his harsh ways for years before she finally broke the chain and wandered off on her own. She became a self-sufficient medicine seller, using herbs and natural resources to mix those special concoctions of hers. Whether they be potentially dangerous or able to heal wounds depends on your affiliation with her...
She became aware of the Arashimeru as she traveled around. Allied to no one but, acting as if she cared about other groups. It was only for her job, anyway. Her knowledge of herbs and different toxins came in handy. Part of her job as a poisonmaker was also putting those poisons to good use. People would hire her, giving her money to go kill a person of the opposing alliance. As long as she did not befriend someone in that alliance, she was perfectly fine with it. She had no side to take, as long as she got her money, she was fine. To this day, nobody has figured out she is the one doing all of this. As a kitsune, she is very elusive and devious, always moving swiftly, so she's naught but a blur..
On her way to one such deal, she ran into a man. Ran, quite literally, into him, but he didn't do so much as flinch. In fact, she took the effects, and then some. Knocked back quite far, Aida had surely gotten pissed with the stupid little cat youkai. She released her frustrations in forms of hitting and kicking him, only to be met with the same outcome; they all came back to her. Taku, as he had called himself, did not know how this happened either. It just did. Aida stormed off, clearly angry that he had disrupted her job. But the little thing continued to follow her around, always questioning what it was she was in such a hurry for. His naivety made her so angry, but it seemed that no matter where she went, no matter what city she visited, he would be there.
Some of her tasks have been put on pause until she can get rid of this pest following her around. And while she might always deny it, it didn't bother her in the least. At least her travels from here on out were always fun. Since that day, Aida has wandered around, selling healing remedies so she can at least feed herself.
